Exploring friendlessness in the adult years
In our study, we talked to 21 males and females to understand experiences of friendlessness. Over fifty percent remained in the "quarter life" stage, meaning they remained in their 20s or 30s. They varied from young specialists, to pupils, to base pay employees.
Some individuals had abundant family lives, professional lives or spousal partnerships. Others were almost totally socially separated. Still, all individuals saw doing not have friends as something they fought with, thought of or should warrant to others.
